"Historic Inn with a Lovely Courtyard - Exterior Needs a Little Sprucing Up."

A stately inn in the heart of the historic district with 7 pet friendly rooms (garden level and carriage house). Staff was very pet friendly and the $50 pet fee is reasonable. Room prices at around $240 and up (March 2008) seemed pricey for the small garden level rooms. The garden rooms however did open onto lovely courtyards which provide an outdoor space in good weather. The carriage house rooms (which were all full at the time of Lana's visit so she cannot give a first hand opinion) seem more spacious on the website and start at $230 (March 2008). The inn is showing a little wear at places but still very nice. Lana loves the location close to her favorite lunch restaurant with patio seating SoHo.
